How to make homemade tea using ginger
To make infusion of ginger tea, cut fresh ginger into slices, add a one cup of water and boil at low heat for 10 minutes. Sip out the liquid to drink. You can also eat the slices. This recipe can be taken 3 times daily before a meal.
Warning: Never take ginger if you are taking blood thinner. If you must do, please consult your doctor. Good for stomach problem, ginger can also cause stomach upset if taken in large quantity.
I know that ginger is beneficial (and yummy) but seldom actually buy it. This is a great reminder and helpful list of ways it can aid our nutrition and health.

ReplyDeleteWhen I'm sick, I regularly make an infusion of ginger in boiling water, along with lemon, a bit of cinnamon and sometimes even a splash of whiskey (don't tell anyone) ;) It's a fantastic cure for what ails.
