Natural Skin Care Is The Way To Go

Beauty is skin deep. You need to make sure that you take proper care of your skin if you want to enjoy a flawless skin. Everyday exposure to dirt, dust and pollution makes our skin dull and dry. We experience different types of skin irritations, rashes and even acne. If any of these are overlooked, then the condition might turn severe and you will end up with a patchy, flaky and uneven skin tone. In order to avoid this try taking care of your skin from today.

You will see that there are different cosmetic brands offering different types of creams, lotions and other skin care products. But it is better if you avoid them. Most of these items have chemical ingredients which are quite harmful for the skin. And if you possess sensitive skin, then you will experience a bout of skin problems. So is there no possible solution to take care of your skin? Well, there definitely is. Instead of these cosmetic products, opt for natural skin care remedies. Nature is bountiful and it has gifted us with so many different fruits and vegetables that are a storehouse of minerals and vitamins. Some of them are extremely popular as skin care ingredients. So why don’t you use them in order to improve your skin quality as a whole?

Some of the popular natural skin care products that you can easily use at home include carrot, cucumber, potato, tomato, yoghurt, egg white, baking soda, fullers earth and honey. All these items are easily available in the market and can be used at any point of the day to take care of the skin. Potato is excellent for removing dark circles under the eye. Tomato is well known for its de-tanning quality. In fact yoghurt, egg white are also good as a de-tanning agent. You can use cucumber in order to soothe your eyes. And honey is an excellent natural skin moisturizer.

In order to ensure a well balanced skin quality you also need to drink 8 to 12 glasses of water every day along with 8 hours of sleep. Keep in mind that you will not become the owner of a flawless skin within a few days. You need to follow this regime of applying natural and organic skin products for several days before you see any positive results. If you expect to apply them for a few days and be blessed with a flawless skin for the rest of your life then you are sadly mistaken. You have to follow it on a daily basis in order to enjoy the fruits of your labor for the months to come.

So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and start applying these natural products on your skin. However, keep in mind that you need to take your skin type into consideration before you start following this regime. Generally there are 3 types of skin – dry, normal and oily. What type of skin do you have? Find it out before you go ahead and apply these items on your skin in order to get the desired results.

  1. I've always wanted to try natural skincare remedies, but just haven't had the time to concoct them. Anyhow, I definitely agree with the bit about drinking plenty of water and getting enough sleep... Especially in this day and age.

  2. Hello mazino, I must say this is a great post. But most of the items like egg & yoghurt are fatening so I will like to add that we should avoid excess use. That's my little contribution.

  5. hmm, i've personally tried using egg whites for blackhead removal (soaking cotton pads in egg whites and sticking them over the nose and removing them when they're dried till rock hard) but it actually doesn't work half as well as a store bought pore pack. have also tried cucumber slices on the eyes, but also felt that store bought eye masks are better. so... i'm not that into "natural" skincare. but sufficient sleep and water intake is a must!

  6. haha... these are actually good for people with mild skin problems. Those with severe acne care still requires doctor's or specialist treatment

  8. Though everything in nature is comprised of some sort of chemical, I agree that some are better than others! I particularly like using cucumber masks. Shea butter is also fantastic for keeping my skin moisturized and soft to the touch. I've learned that the key for skin is cleanliness and keeping it moisturized.

  9. It helps to know what kind of skin type you have because it is often asked in the store before the attendant presents a recommendation. I also use products with natural skin care ingredients and not choose those cheap ones only to compromise on quality.

  10. These are basic tips we all know already, but we should always be reminded. We know water and sleep are very important, but unfortunately, we neglect them until we see and feel something wrong.

  18. I wish I can honestly say I drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and sleep for 8 hours but I really don't. I know that cucumber does wonders for the eyes. I'm also into natural products but for me the best way to take care of my face is to avoid makeup as much as possible.

  19. Great tips actually but I have to agree that there some natural fruits, or remedies are not as effective as the beauty products sold in stores. But one proven beauty care is drinking lots of water and good sleep.
